DOPISNIca – Portal of Integrated System of S&T Information

DOPISNIca is a system under development containing in-depth information on local researchers, research institutions, projects and published results. It is designed according to CERIF, a standard data model for research and technological information used extensively across Europe.

The original purpose of DOPISINIcA was to serve as a model database for developing a full CRIS (Current Research Information System) portal of Serbian science. As a result of research and development activity supported by an international foundation It was offered to the Ministry responsible for science in 2010 free-of-charge. The offer was not accepted nor refused. While waiting for the decision to be made, we recommend DOPISNiCA to other authorities from the region of SEE, since it is equally tailored to the needs of all developing, transition, emerging and small countries.
