PHP/MySQL programmer

CEON/CEES is looking for a PHP/MySQL programmer to work, either as full-time employee or regular contractor, on the long-term, challenging, and innovative projects
Position: PHP / MySQL developer
Responsibilities:
- Customize and upgrade existing Open Source applications;
- The development of new applications to the defined model;
- Independent work with regular reporting and coordination;
- Respect of the standards for writing code;
- Tracking innovation in the development of IT support system of scientific information.
Basic requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of PHP 4 and 5 technology, SQL, JavaScript, jQuery-I and HTML;
- Excellent knowledge of MySQL database (programming and administration);
- Knowledge of MVC patterns and Smarty templates;
- Ability of good understanding and changing the code of existing applications made in the above technologies;
- 3 years of experience in software development.
Preferred requirements:
- Experience of working with some of the Open Source projects; especially the Open Journal Systems and Joomla;
- Years of experience in professional work on web applications.
